Resize the Canvas in Paint Shop Pro Photo XI
1. Open and run the application. You will need to left-click on the application icon in order to open and run this program.
2. Open the desired image file. To open a desired image file scroll to the “File” tab on the command bar and click “Open.” Browse to the desired image file and click “Open.”
3. Resize the canvas. To resize the canvas scroll to the “Image” tab on the command bar and select “Canvas Size.” A canvas size properties box will open where you can enter the desired height and width by either pixels or inches. On the lower left of this box you can select the placement by left-clicking on the corresponding canvas placement arrows. Finally, you can specify that the canvas be resized proportionately by checking the “Lock Aspect Ratio” box.
4. Save the image file. To save your edited image scroll to the “File” tab on the command bar and select “Save As.” Select the desired file format and location, and click “Save.”
