With a population of over 6 million people, the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, or DFW, is the largest in Texas and the fourth largest in the United States. From inner city theater projects to visual arts classes for senior citizens, the many non-profit arts organizations of the Dallas-Fort Worth area are integral parts of the cultural fabric of the area, and many of these organizations rely on charitable donations to survive.
