Sell 1991 Marvel Buying and selling Cards

In 1991 Marvel released its second series of Marvel Universe Trading Cards. This series trumped the previous series with better artwork and more detailed information about your favorite Marvel Universe characters. In addition to the characters, fans are treated to information about rivalries, weapons and teams that act as an introduction to the finer points of Marvel Universe History. This series is still much sought after by collectors and may be worth selling if you aren't getting daily enjoyment out of it anymore. It can also make a good niche if you want to get into selling comic book collectibles.

Instructions

1. See if you have a full set of cards, and if so, how many full sets you have. Set aside all duplicates, as well as any unopened packs or boxes that you may have. Much like action figures, trading cards are worth more if they are unopened. Finally, set aside all hologram card sets that you have, as these are some of the most valuable cards.

2. Research your collection. Check out the latest issue of "Wizard" or "Non-Sport Update." These are the premier magazines for appraising the price of your collection. See how much full sets are worth, as well as which cards are rare and sought after by collectors. You may also want to see how much your collections are worth when sold as individual sets rather than as a collection.

3. Sell your collection. eBay is a place where people are always selling 1991 Marvel Trading Cards. List your collection either as an auction or at fixed prices that you would be happy getting for each item that you are selling. Make sure that your items have clear descriptions of their quality. Other options for sales include setting up a table at the local flea market or going down to your local card collection shop and seeing how much they are offering.

4. Replenish your stock. Get new stock for further sales by looking around eBay for collections and breaking them down into more profitable singles. Flea markets and yard sales are places to scout for complete collections and sealed boxes. You can also find deals at any card or comic book store's going-out-of-business sale.
