Make Canvas Prints of Your Artwork at Home
Creating your own artwork is rewarding and brings a sense of fulfillment when people appreciate your efforts. The digital age and new equipment makes it possible to create your own archival quality prints that you can sell as a limited edition or give as gifts. You can create artwork specifically for the purpose of printing it or reproduce some of your favorite pieces. If you have a computer, scanner and printer just buy a few sheets of canvas paper and make your own prints.
Instructions
1. You can reproduce you original artwork and print it on canvas.
Start with a piece of artwork that fits in the scan bed. Scan the image using the highest resolution so all the detail you worked hard to show will be picked up.
2. Crop the image to make it the size you want it to be for framing or display purposes. Use photo editing software to enhance the color or add any details that may have been left out.
3. Read the package instructions on your canvas paper and insert a sheet into the printer so that the image will print on the right side of the paper.
4. Allow the picture to air dry according to the package directions. Sign and number your print of you intend to create a limited edition series.
