Florida Craft Shows

Artisans create baskets to sell at craft shows.


Whether you are a snowbird visiting Florida for the winter months or are a permanent resident, you will enjoy the opportunities to attend craft shows in the Sunshine State. Crafts are on display by local artisans and crafters from all over the United States. Thousands attend these annual craft events delighting in the various works of the artists, including pottery, basketry, jewelry and fabric arts.


The Villages Craft Festival


The Villages Craft Festival takes place each year at Lake Sumter Landing in The Villages in central Florida. Admission is free to this annual event which includes craft booths, food and live entertainment. Visitors will find one of a kind crafts of pottery, silk floral arrangements, dolls, clothing and jewelry. This annual festival takes place outdoors around the square at Lake Sumter Landing.


Under the Oaks


Under the Oaks Arts and Crafts Festival is presented by the Vero Beach Art Club in March. It takes place in Riverside Park in Vero Beach under the live oak trees. This show attracts over 80,000 visitors each year making it the largest fine arts show on the Treasure Coast and in the Southeast. Artists and visitors rate this the best arts and crafts festival in Florida according to Florida Magazine. This juried event draws over 200 artisans displaying and selling their crafts. Awards are presented in eight categories, including painting, jewelry, pottery, sculpture and creative crafts.


Sarasota American Craft Show


The Sarasota American Craft Show is an annual event taking place in December. The show is held at the Sarasota Bradenton International Convention Center. The craft show features 135 artisans exhibiting and selling basketry, ceramics, decorative fibers, jewelry and wearable arts. Artisans come from all over the United States to participate in this three-day event.
