Create A Dance Routine

Dance is an expressive art form, and most dance routines require energy and focus. It can be fun to make one with your friends. If you want to put together a dance routine, then you might want to learn a few techniques first. Learn make a dance routine that you can show off to family and friends.

Instructions

1. Start by choosing a song that you know you can move to and dance to. If you want to dance at a fast pace, then choose a song with a fast beat. If you want to dance slowly, then choose a slower song with a slow beat. Choose a song that you like, since you will hear this song many times.

2. Look online for the lyrics to the song. By learning the lyrics, you'll be able to know what beat is good for each move you are going to put together. It will also help you better understand the message and mood of the song.

3. Practice certain dance moves in a private area. Try doing them in the basement or a room where you can play your song over and over again. Combine a variety of moves and choose the main ones you want to use. If you don't know any dance moves, try copying the ones you see in music videos.

4. Use certain moves repeatedly. Possibly when you hit a chorus part of the song. Repeat the moves through the chorus areas so you have some sort of routine showing throughout.

5. Choose a major end to your dance routine. After you have finished most of the dance routine, then you will want to end the dance in an impressive and bold move. Memorize all the steps before you perform your routine in front of an audience.
