Find Free Activities In Chicago

Find FREE Activities in Chicago

In the big city, there are so many things to do. But the big city also comes with a big price tag. You can find a lot of free activities in Chicago if you just poke around and look for them. Check out these fun free activities for you and the family in Chicago.

Instructions

1. There are so many free Chicago activities to participate in. Free fitness classes are some of them. Do yoga downtown Chicago. Why not? It's free at Millennium Park from 8am-9am every Saturday. Moksha Yoga is also free on Sundays from 3:30-5pm.

Like pilates even more? Yep, they have free classes too. Go on over to their website and see if it is within your area.

Women, Flirty Girl Fitness has free classes going on as well. Check out the link below for times and locations.

2. You can also finally learn dance like the stars and the pro's with free salsa lessons going on at Nacional 27 every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month 6pm-8pm. Free Hip Hop classes are held after yoga at the Millennium Park at 10am.

3. For people with children, Chicago and its surrounding suburbs have free reading programs. Reading programs are wonderful because they keep children's mind active. These programs oftentimes reward children with fun prizes and goodies that keep them motivated to read!

Pay close attention to your community events and local community college as well. They always seem to have children's show either for free or a small fee. The best shows I have seen so far were put on at community college, so don't pass those fun opportunities up.

The Harold Washington Library always has something free for families. Check out their event's website (link below in resource section) for ongoing monthly events.

4. Go to the museum on free days. If you have an account with Bank of America, you can use your check card to get into the museums for free the first weekends in the month.
