Virtual DJ's PC version comes supplied with a Karaoke Rotation plug-in.
Your Virtual DJ license gives you access to many plug-ins on the Virtual DJ website, which you can download and plug into the software. Plug-ins include skins, sound effects, video effects, samples, languages, graphics, tools and drivers. Virtual DJ's PC version comes supplied with a Karaoke Rotation plug-in, which you can activate, configure and use. The Virtual DJ Karaoke plug-in can assist in managing a Karaoke event and provides support for playing and mixing Karaoke files.
Instructions
1. Activate the plug-in. Highlight and select the "Activate" button that corresponds to the plug-in in the Video Effects section. In the case of the Karaoke plug-in, the Karaoke rotation list will launch and send the bitmap image to the main video output. The "List" button is used to display the rotation list. "Config" brings up the configuration dialog box and the "Next" button starts the next song/singer selection.
2. Configure the plug-in. In the case of the Karaoke plug-in, you can designate text to be displayed during the song, position the text using X and Y co-ordinates and make other changes.
3. Use the Plug-in. In the case of the Karaoke plug-in, use the Rotation List Manager. Just drag and drop the karaoke track from the Virtual DJ browser onto the list. The plug-in will ask for a singer's name. The songs will be displayed by title, artist and singer.
4. Select the Settings tab in Virtual DJ. It's in the configuration area. Press the button "Download Plug-Ins" Your computer's Web browser will launch and be directed to the "Add-Ons" section of the Virtual DJ website where you will find more plug-ins for downloading. Click on the icon associated with the plug-in on the website and follow the instructions to download the plug-in. Then simply activate the plug-in using the same procedures you used for the Karaoke plug-in.
