Drawing cartoon faces should be creative and fun.
Cartoons are drawings of people or animals, real or fantasy that can be used to make several different pieces of art for different purposes. The main thing that people think of when they think cartoons are the Sunday "funnies" which use exaggerated facial expressions to the point of comedy. It is very simple to draw these types of characters because you can be very liberal in their creation, and there is pretty much nothing that you can do wrong.
Instructions
1. Draw a circle for the face.
2. Decide what kind of expression you would like for your character to have. You can change it up by using the basic principles described here, but for this process, we are going to use a happy face.
3. Draw a lower case "t" through the face as your guidelines. The face should be separated into generally equal sections.
4. Draw the eyes with the horizontal line going straight through the center of the eyes. The eyes should have two circles, one for the pupil and iris, and one for the outside of the eye. They should be circular.
5. Draw the eyebrows above the eyes with curves.
6. Draw the nose as a circle directly between and below the eyes.
7. Draw the mouth below the eyes in a curved line. Add another curved line connected to the first one if you want the mouth open.
