Dance At Techno Clubs

You hear the techno music and, for some reason, it has infected you. The beats are pounding through your body. You kind of like it. You step out onto the dance floor and ... can't quite move. How do you dance to this stuff anyway? This article will show you dance at techno clubs

Instructions

1. Catch the beat. This is actually easy with techno music. In clubs, they emphasize the beat by turning up the bass loud enough for your arteries to burst. Most of the time it's a 1-2-3-4 count in about 2 seconds (or 120 beats per minute). You can catch it by tapping your toes to the beat underneath the table or while standing at the bar.

2. Give your head a slight side-to-side nod. Imagine your head as a gentle pendulum, going along with the beat you're tapping your toes to. Relax your neck and just go side-to-side for a little while. If you really want to experience it, close your eyes and do it. Your body will start to relax and prepare you for the next step.

3. Get up and walk out to the floor with your head still in sync with the beat. The beauty of techno music iis that you can dance by yourself and no one cares. Find a spot towards the back of the floor and away from the crowd so you can try to feel the music even more.

4. Start a small march to the beat. Pick your feet up left, right, left , right. You should be fully ingrained with the techno beat by now. Close your eyes for a few seconds and let your body relax a little while still keeping your low march. Let your arms loosen up. Now that your body is in tune with the beat. Improvise.
