Lose Baby Weight Like Jenny McCarthy
With her frank discussions on pregnancy, birth and weight, Jenny McCarthy has become an inspiration to millions of women across the U.S. After giving birth, she successfully lost 50 pounds on the Weight Watchers system. The amazing thing is that's something normal people can do too.
Instructions
1. Take a frank look at your body. This is how McCarthy finally got motivated to lose weight. She says she took an honest look at her body and didn't know where to start, so she began crying. Then she got mad. That anger drove her to change.
2. Join Weight Watchers. Check online to find a meeting in your area and pick a meeting time you'll stick with. The meeting and the weigh-ins are the key to the Weight Watchers program.
3. Choose to follow either the Flex Plan or the Core Plan. On the Flex plan, you'll count points for everything you eat while on the Core Plan you'll eat from a specific list of foods. Decide which one works best for you and stick with it.
4. Write it down. You'll be asked to keep a food journal, especially if you follow the Flex Plan. Write down everything that goes in your mouth throughout the day. Also mark down the healthy guidelines you'll be following.
5. Follow the specialized program if you're nursing. You'll have to drink more milk and ingest more calories if you're nursing to keep yourself healthy. Ask for more information from your Weight Watchers leader.
6. Get some exercise daily. McCarthy goes for a walk with her son in the stroller. If that doesn't work for you, try something different. Keep experimenting until you find something you like and can stick with.
7. Look to McCarthy for inspiration. She's quoted on the Weight Watchers website but you can find her weight-loss quotes just about anywhere. Her humor is a good way to keep your weight loss journey in perspective.
