Instructions

Quick Firework Face Painting

1. Load a soft-bristled small round detail brush with yellow paint by dipping the paint in water and then rotating it in face paint. Paint an arch about an inch and a half wide anywhere on the face.

2. Use the same brush and the same color to paint another arch the same size. This time paint the arch on a slight diagonal. The middle of the second arch should cross through the middle of the first arch.

3. Paint a third arch on even more of slant and again crossing through the same point in the middle of the of the other arches with yellow paint and using a small round brush. This will form a firework shape. Choose another firework color, like pink, purple, gold or bright blue to paint this same firework shape somewhere else on the face. Paint as many firework shapes as you'd like, in as many colors as you desire, all over the face. Sprinkle gold and/or silver loose face painting sparkles over the face.

Detailed Firework Face Painting

4. Use a small round brush to put a white dot on the forehead of the face. Paint pink dots going diagonally upward to the right in a line about an inch and half long. Then paint the pink dots the same length in a line going upward diagonally to the left. Then paint downward diagonally to the left and right. In between these four lines, paint light purple dotted lines a little less than an inch and a half long. This should create an asterisk-like shape. Put some white dots in the middle of this shape and along the pink and purple dotted lines that shoot out from the middle.

5. Start again with a white dot and make the same firework shape somewhere else on the forehead, but with two different colors like yellow and orange. Make a third firework shape using light blue and lime green.

6. Paint a few gold and silver wavy lines coming out from the fireworks. Also paint some wavy lines, swirls, curls and spirals coming down from the eyes in the same colors used to paint the fireworks. Sprinkle gold and/or silver loose face painting sparkles over the face.
