Instructions
1. Hold the top of the invisible thread between your right thumb and index finger at the base of your chin.Pull it tightly down using your left thumb and index finger. Stand completely straight; take the thread down with your left hand until your arm is fully extended.
2. Cut the end with sharp scissors at the point where your left index finger and thumb are holding the bottom of the thread. Measure an inch of tape and cut it in half. Attach the pieces of tape to the edge of a table so that some of the tape hangs off the edge. Repeat this step for six more inch long pieces of tape to create 12 halves.
3. Trim the tips of the invisible thread with scissors. Working on a white piece of paper, pull at one of the ends until you free a single strand. Use your left hand to hold the strand you pulled out and use the right hand to pull down the thread from underneath until you reach the end of the strand. Connect one of the cut pieces of tape to this end. Visually divide the tape into three sections. Count over two sections and connect the strand.Wrap the strand around the tape tab making a full circle around. Fold the third section of the tape over the strand. Tape this tab to a table to prevent it from getting lost and to keep it secure.
4. Pull the thread down the strand gently until it bunches. Hold the strand straight with one hand and pull at the bottom of the thread with the other until the thread slides down and off the strand.Find the end of the strand by running down it carefully with your fingers from the top to the bottom. Measure and cut off an inch long piece of tape. Attach the bottom of the strand to the tape.
5. Wrap the bottom of the strand around the tape as you did with the top part of the strand earlier. Measure the card using your ruler to find the center point. Attach the adhesive side of the tape to this point by lining up the strand on the tape to the center of the card.
6. Press tape down firmly. Rotate the card up the line by folding the line around the card. Remove the other tape tab from the table once you reach the top.
7. Face the adhesive side of this tape tab towards yourself; hold the tab with your thumb and index finger. Keep your middle finger extended and drape the strand in front of it. Guide the tape over your ear. Secure the tape between your ear and your head on the back of your ear. The thread should come down in front of your ear. Stand straight with your head facing forward. Look into a mirror and see if the card is in position in accordance with where the bottom of your belt would normally sit.
8. Hold the top of the card with your right thumb and middle finger, barely touching the card but holding it just enough to keep it in position. Place your right index finger on one side of the card and your left hand on the other. Spin the card. Make sure that you use the middle section of your index finger when spinning the card. Shift your body to direct your head and bring the spinning card from your right to your left without it touching your hand and then back to your right. Catch the card with your right hand.
