Pose For That Media

Be prepared for the paparazzi. The flash-bulbs are blinding and both sides of the red carpet are lined with the media, desperate to take your photo. Put your best foot forward and pose for the media. Avoid looking like an amateur, master posing for the media before you step out of the limousine.

Instructions

1. Tilt your head to one side at a 30- to 45-degree angle. Turn your "best" side toward the cameras and let your hair fall over the hidden side of your face. Jut your chin out slightly to elongate your neck. Practice posing in front of the mirror and walking around the house.

2. Put your hands on your hips. Placing your hands on your hips is the most popular media pose. Show off both toned arms and a bit of attitude. When posing with an escort, keep one hand on your hip and clutch the man with the other.

3. Place your weight on one leg and elongate the other one, ideally though the slit in your dress. Angle the leg you're revealing away from your body to one side, but point your toe slightly inward to tighten your calf and create a graceful and sexy line.

4. Put on your sexiest pout and glare seductively at the camera. Prior to your march down the red carpet, practice an expression that conveys confidence, sexiness, talent and sophistication. Look suggestive yet unapproachable.

5. Square your shoulders and be aware of your posture. Breathe deeply, hold it and silently count to three. Exhale and maintain your smile. Inhaling naturally pulls your center of gravity up and gives an air of confidence.
