Remove A Hardboiled Egg From The Bottle

Getting a hard-boiled egg out of a bottle is a classic trick that may be over 100-years old, but it is guaranteed to amaze and delight your friends. There are a number of ways to perform this "trick."

Instructions

1. Put the boiled egg into a glass bottle. See Resources below to learn do this.

2. Tip the bottle upside down, taking care not to drop the matches (which you'll learn about in the other eHow article) on your face. Lift the bottle above your head with your mouth just about a half-inch from the mouth of the bottle. Continuously blow hard into the bottle, and the egg will begin to slip out.

3. Fill up a container with warm water and then immerse the bottle with the egg into it. Watch and wait for the pressure of the warming air to push out the egg.

4. Pour an inch of water into the bottle. Crush a fizzing soda tablet for stomach aches and put it into the bottle. Now turn the bottle upside down very quickly, and the egg will slip out. Instead of the fizzing soda tablet, you may also use a 1/2 cup of vinegar and 2/3 cup of baking soda. Pour these into the water and tip it upside down.
