Train Your Pet Methods On Nintendogs Chihuahua And Buddies

Rewarding your dog with treats will make him learn tricks faster.

Nintendogs: Chihuahua and Friends is a virtual pet game for the Nintendo DS that allows you to play with and take care of a virtual dog. Teaching your virtual dog tricks uses techniques similar to those used to train real dogs. Using the Nintendo DS stylus to touch the screen, you can touch your dog's head, paws, and torso to teach him a number of tricks to perform. You can even reinforce your teaching by rewarding your dog with treats.

Instructions

1. Teach your dog to sit by placing the stylus on your dog's head, then move the stylus down slowly. Your dog's head will follow the stylus down until he sits.

2. Have your dog learn the shake trick by making him sit, then place the stylus on one of your dog's paws and move it up to have him shake his paw with you.

3. Teach your dog to lay down. Have him sit, then place the stylus on his head and move it downward until he lies down on the floor.

4. Have your dog learn to roll onto his side. Make him lie down, then place the stylus on his head and move it to the side, making him roll over on his side. Continue moving the stylus to the side to teach your dog to roll over onto his back.

5. Make your dog sit to teach him perform the wave trick. Touch one of your dog's paws with the stylus and move it up until his paw is lifted past his head.

6. Place the stylus on your dog's tail to teach him the chase tail trick. Carefully pull your dog's tail closer to his face and your dog will start chasing his tail.

7. Teach your dog to sneeze by placing the stylus on your dog's nose and tapping it. The sneeze trick can be performed in any position--standing, sitting or lying down.

8. Call your dog over to you by tapping the stylus on the screen. Teach him to jump by moving the stylus around on the top of the screen until your dog jumps up toward it.
