Make Horse Line Art
Horses are elegant and powerful creatures, often fascinating the artist's eye. Drawing horse line art is a first step toward painting or creating horse-based graphics. A horse is made out of many different sized circles connected together with curved and straight lines. You must keep your line art clean so that any art work, whether oil or watercolor, that you paint over the art keeps the neat shape and lines of your drawing.
Instructions
1. Draw the head with a circle. Diagonally down and to the left draw the nose with a smaller circle. For the body, draw two larger circles diagonally connected to each other.
2. Add the shoulders and hips with circles the same side as the head. Draw small circles for the joints. Add the legs with lines. Draw a curved line for the tail. Connect the head to the body with a curved line.
3. Thicken the frame with lines around the basic frame. These lines should match the shape of the limbs and body. Dip the lines on the top and bottom of the body in towards the middle of the body. Add the eye with a small curved line near the top of the head. Add a nostril with a curved line near the bottom of the nose.
4. Add the hooves with trapezoid shapes on each leg. Create the ears with two triangles on top of the head. Create the mane with a wavy line on the back of the neck.
5. Erase the guidelines. Ink the entire drawing and let the ink dry. Erase the pencil lines.
