Make Paper Plate Snowman For Small children

Winter is a good time of the year to pull out some craft supplies and get your toddler involved in an activity. A paper plate snowman is a perfect snowy day project that you and your child can make together.

Instructions

1. Take one of the paper plates, and cut the outer rim off with scissors.

2. Punch a hole along the edge of both paper plates with the hole punch. Align the holes together, and use the yarn or ribbon to tie the paper plates together.

3. Draw the snowman's hat and two boots on the black construction paper, and draw the snowman's two mittens on the red construction paper.

4. Cut out the hat, boots and mittens, and glue them to the paper plates.

5. Make the eyes with a marker or crayons, or add the wiggly eyes with glue. Next draw a mouth for your snowman.

6. Get the orange pipe cleaner, and cut the end off to make the snowman's nose. Use the glue to secure it to the plate.

7. Create the buttons by cutting them out of the remaining red construction paper, and glue them on the plate. You can also use the marker or crayons to draw the buttons.

8. Write your child's name and age on the back, and your snowman is complete.
