First, you need to be in Los Angeles as CSI films there and they get their pool of extras from Central Casting. CSI is a hard sget on but with persistence, you'll find yourself booked on the show and a minimum-wage paycheck to show for your hard day's work.
Instructions
1. Register with Central Casting as a background player. Information about registering is available at their website. There is a cost to register, and you need to provide a picture ID and proof of your Social Security number.
2. Call the union and non-union lines regularly and listen to CSI's casting needs. If you fit the description, call the casting director at the line she stated. Give her the first five numbers of your SSN and your name. This pulls up your picture, which was taken during your registration, and she can tell you whether you're booked.
3. Write down your call time and the info box number for CSI. You'll be calling Central Casting's info tape line, which will give you all your wardrobe and location information for where CSI will be taping the next day.
