Kate Howard
Katherine Hardwicke Howard, born Constanza Louise Falconeri, is a character on the long running ABC soap opera "General Hospital." She is better known as Kate Howard, the big-time fashion magazine editor who came and settled in Port Charles from New York City. On the surface, she seems like the embodiment of high society, but in reality she comes from a working-class Italian family. Her behavior reflects her constant battle between where she's from, and where she is.

1. Know fashion. Kate Howard's entire life has been influenced by her love of fashion. As the head of a fashion magazine empire, she has worked with famous designers, celebrities, and musicians who look to her for inspiration. Read up on who's who in the fashion world.
2. Dress like a diva. You can not be Kate Howard without the best clothes. Wear fitted pant suits, dresses, and skirts that are professional, but stylish. The clothes are a big part of the Kate Howard persona. Some good designers to invest in would be Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, and Gucci.
3. Keep your head up. Since Kate is at the top of her game in business, she always enters a room with her head held high. That type of body language automatically shows people that they need to work for your attention. She has worked hard to get where she is, and she expects other people to have that same ambition.
4. Have some vulnerability. Because of Kate's background, she does have moments where she reminisces of what her life used to be like. She was once a Catholic school girl in the New York neighborhood of Bensonhurst. There are times when she shows moments of weakness. They are few and far between, but they do occur.
5. Command what you want. Kate Howard doesn't lie down for anyone. If she wants something, she sets her eyes on it, and eventually takes it. Her determination, and "world is mine" attitude is what helped her get to where she is today.
