So you want to pierce your belly button, but either the pain or your parents have made you choose against it? Well, don't worry as there are plenty of ways to imitate the look without causing any permanent damage.
Instructions
1. Think simple. The same things you used when you were little to imitate ear piercings still work today. Sparkle stickers are probably your best bet. Little round sparkle stickers, often sold at craft stores or novelty stores, will imitate the piercing well. Just stick right above your belly button for the effect of a piercing.
2. You can buy clip-ons for your ears so why not your belly button? Small clip-ons attach to the inside and outside of your belly button to give the look of a ring. Attach it tight so it doesnt fall off.
3. Magnets are great for giving the pierced look. Special extra-small magnetic jewelry is sold in many teen-related accessory stores to give that look. They're more secure than the last two options and have no hoop to attach on the sides, so the look is realistic.
4. If you're looking to just give the look of being pierced but not actually wearing the jewelry, then create the look with a simple magic marker. When removed, a piercing just looks like a dark dot. You can easily imitate this using a fine point marker or a pen.
5. If none of these solutions appeal to you, consider alternatives. Delicate belly chains or temporary tattoos may highlight the areas you're looking to show off without the pain of piercing.
