Decorate Paper Plates

By decorating your paper plates you can give each plate a special touch. You can decorate them with acrylic paints, stickers, stamps and much more. By using paper plates at a party, dinner or lunch, you can trim the overall costs. By decorating the plates, you can make them match the theme of your celebration or gathering.

Instructions

1. Pick out acrylic paints, stickers, stamps and nontoxic ink that match your party's theme.

2. Using a small paint brush, paint stripes using one of the acrylic colors on the rim of the plate. Leave enough space between each stripe to alternate colors.

3. Fill in the spaces on the rim of the plate with stripes of the other acrylic colors.

4. Stamp a rubber stamp into nontoxic ink and stamp it on the middle or side of the plate. Use a stamp that matches the theme of your party, or the first letter of the name of the person who is going to use the plate. You could also use a nontoxic black pen to write the recipient's name on the plate.

5. Add matching stickers as a final touch by sticking them partially over the acrylic paint and partially on the main portion of the plate.
