Printing to a transparency slide can be achieved with just a few simple steps.
Printing to transparent paper, or transparency film, allows you to display your printout using an overhead projector or even to transfer the images to fabric with silk-screening techniques. To print to the transparencies, you do need to make sure that your printer settings are correct in order to avoid smears and worse. Laser printers use heat to fuse the ink to the paper and they require special transparencies that will not melt under the high heat. Make sure you buy the right transparencies for your printer.
Instructions
1. Insert your transparency slide into the printer of choice. It is usually a good idea to remove any paper in the tray or to use the separate feeding tray for special print jobs.
2. Click "Print" for your file and then click on the "Preferences" button to change the settings.
3. Change the paper settings to "Transparency" or "Photo Paper," depending on your printer settings. Then click "OK" to start the print job.
