Take Before & After Images Of Houses

Taking before and after pictures is a great way to allow others to see how much you have achieved whether we are talking about weight loss, pregnancy, or home repairs. Taking before and after pictures of your home when having home repairs done is a great way to show potential buyers the improvements that have recently been done to a home you are trying to see, they are also great for your own records, especially if you work for a contracting company and would like to use the photos to bring in more business. Whatever your reasons for wanting to take before and after home photos, they can be taken easily and are a great thing to have around.

Instructions

Taking Before and After Pictures of Homes

1. Remove all items from the room or rooms that you intend to have work done on. You want the photos to show as much of the actual room as possible, so removing furniture, rugs, and the like from the room before you begin to take pictures is important so that there are no items blocking portions of the walls and/or floor.

2. Take the pictures when there is the most natural light in the room. Natural light is the best kind of light to display the room, and since you have already removed everything from the room, you are most likely not going to have any other kind of light to brighten the room since there won't be any lamps around.

3. Take pictures of the room from several different angles so that you can be sure to capture every corner of the room, pay special attention to the area or areas of the room where the work is going to be done. If there are specific areas of the room, such as water spots that are going to be repaired, then make sure that you take both wide angle and zoom shots of those areas.

4. Continue to take pictures of the room or rooms as the work is being done. Pictures of the work in progress can help to show structural, electrical, or plumbing work that otherwise you wouldn't be able to see under the drywall. Remember to take these pictures from several angles and to zoom in on any important details that you want to capture.

5. Take your final pictures once all the work is complete.Once again, take the pictures from several different angles and zoom in on special details that you want to make sure to capture.
