Take Part In The Improv Game Mind Inside A Bucket

Head in a Bucket is a difficult game involving dunking one's head under water for as long as possible. This isn't a good game for people afraid of water or that are claustrophobic. However, this is a hilarious game for the audience to watch.

Instructions

The Head in a Bucket Improv Game

1. The host solicits a non-geographical location and an unrelated object from the audience.

2. The three players quietly plan out the skeleton of the scene (beginning, middle and end) while the host explains the game to the audience.

3. The host places the bucket of water on top of the table, demonstrating that there is really water in the bucket.

4. The host calls "Action!"

5. One player sticks his or her head in the bucket of water as the other two players begin the scene.

6. When the player with their head in the bucket begins to run out of air, he or she raises her hand while their head is still in the bucket.

7. One of the other two players finds a reason to leave the scene and tags the submerged player's raised hand.

8. The submerged player removes their head from the bucket and enters the scene, justifying why they are wet as the player that tagged them out sticks their head in the bucket.

9. Repeat steps six (6) through eight (8) until one player ends the scene.
