Floor paint can be used on wood and concrete and is usually oil-based, which is ideal for porches and patios, or latex-based, which is ideal for garages.

Whether you need to retouch your furniture or want a complete change, using paint to complete the job is an excellent choice. The kind of paint you use depends on the material of your furniture. You can paint chairs and tables made of wood using spray paint or oil- or latex-based paint and paint furniture with chrome using spray paint as well. Additionally, you can find spray paint that's made especially for some things that you'll find in your home, such as outdoor furniture, kitchen appliances and plastic furniture and accessories.
