Making flowers come alive on a wall in your home are a fun way to bring the outside in. You may be able to envision your garden on the walls but are uncertain about actually get them from your mind to the walls. Follow these directions and you will soon be seeing the flowers of your dreams on your walls.
Instructions
1. Paint the background wall color as desired.
2. Plan and sketch a draft of the flowers you desire to paint onto a piece of paper. You can then transfer them onto the wall either with rub-on transfer paper or freehand using a pencil.
3. Decide the dimensions and colors of each of the flowers. Break down the size of each section of the flower; the stem, leaves, pedals, pistil.
4. Paint the lighter colors of the flowers onto the wall. You can paint all the same color, all the base layers of the flowers, at one time. Allow this to dry before moving onto the next phase.
5. Add the darker areas to the flowers. Allow these colors to dry before moving to the next phase.
6. Finish by painting the stems and leaves of the flowers onto the wall.
7. Step back to see if you have a big enough "garden" on your wall. You can always fill in with more flowers later.
