A devil dog will have demonic features.
When most people think of drawing dogs, images of sweet, furry and friendly creatures come to mind. However, if you're a creative artist, illustrator or cartoonist, you might have to create a dog with more of a personality. A devil dog makes a suitable character for a comic strip or might be called for on a storyboard for a film. Regardless of the reason, creating a devil dog is simple; it just requires that you make strategic changes to the typical representation of a dog.
Instructions
1. Draw an oval horizontally in the middle of your paper. This will be the body of the devil dog. Draw a small circle above the top left end of the oval. This will be the head.
2. Draw a small triangle with its top point pointing to the left, overlapping on the left side of the circle you just drew. This will be the dog's snout.
3. Sketch two small triangles on the top right and top left sides of the head. These will be the ears of the dog. In between the ears you've drawn, sketch two pointy horns, evocative of devil's horns. These horns should be more prominent than the ears.
4. Create two almond-shaped eyes. Draw faintly arched eyebrows to make the dog look menacing. Draw the dog's mouth, and create jagged teeth jutting out of it by making small slits and pointy triangles.
5. Draw vertical lines coming out of the bottom of the oval, one line for each leg of the dog. Shape each line, making them thicker, and curve the lines down at the bottom of each leg to represent the paws of the dog.
6. Create a pointy tail, jutting upward like a hook, off the top right end of the dog's oval body. Add details to the dog's body such as pointed claws coming out of the paws.
7. Erase all the guiding or overlapped lines. Shade in areas of the dog's body to give it contour and depth.
