Perform The Soldier Boy Dance

DeAndre Cortez Way, a.k.a Soulja Boy, has made the Soldier Boy Dance a craze around the world. Don't be a wallflower and get in on the groove. Learn the hip-hop dance combination that makes listening to "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" so much fun.

Instructions

1. Stand with your legs apart. Bend your arms at the elbow and out to either side so that they are level with your shoulders. Your hands are palms up.

2. Cross your legs quickly with the right leg over the left and return to your original position.

3. Kick your right foot up at the knee behind your back. Tap your foot with your left hand. Shimmy your body down to the right and back up again.

4. Tap your right foot in front of you over the left foot, and then front to the right. Return it to the original position even with your left foot.

5. Perform the "superman" part of the song. As you lean forward, put your arms out in front of you parallel with the ground. Just as if you were swimming, push your arms out to either side. Slightly hop up to the left front on your left foot and land on your right foot.

6. Place your arms out to the right. Your right arm is fully extended and your left is across you body point to the right. Look to the right. Lean to the left and hop three times on the left leg in that same direction. Repeat Step 7 in the opposite direction.

7. Complete the Soulja Boy moves quickly to the beat of the music. After you have finished Steps 1 through 7, do the same thing in the opposite direction. Repeat the hip-hop combination until the song is over.
