Names Of Famous Art Museums

Explore an art museum today.

Art museums can be a fantastic way to spend the day. Learn about different cultures, linger in front of the paintings or sculptures or simply discuss the works while enjoying a cup of coffee in the museum's cafe. Art museums allow you to do all of this and, perhaps, change your own thinking about art. Here are just a few famous American institutions.

Museum of Fine Arts

The Boston Museum of Fine Arts houses various collections, including European, ancient and contemporary art. See such works as "The Daughters of Edward Darley Boit" by John Singer Sargent, "Jackie" by Andy Warhol and "Dance at Bougival" by Pierre-Auguste Renoir.
